Scarpetta, the critically acclaimed Manhattan restaurant, opened its doors in the Thompson Hotel Toronto in 2010, introducing award-winning celebrity chef Scott Conant, and his upscale Italian cuisine, to the Toronto dining scene. Open and airy with high ceilings, Scarpetta featured floor to ceiling windows, outdoor dining pavilion overlooking Victoria Memorial Park and seating for up to 190.
GEI played a pivotal role in brokering the deal that brought the NYC-based Scarpetta brand to Toronto from 2010 to 2014.
